ICT at Woolton

ICT plays a prominent role in the education of pupils at Woolton. They have regular sessions in our ICT suite where they enjoy a variety of activities. We follow the QCA scheme of work for ICT which provides the pupils with a wide ranging variety of skills.

The school makes full use of its network, which means that the children not only have access to the Internet within the ICT suite, but also in their classrooms. This adds a new and exciting dimension to lesson time. Teachers can now makes use of the vast amount of resources on the World Wide Web to enhance their lessons and make the experiences for the children all the more real.

The children's reaction has been very positive. IT skills will play an important role for them both now and in their future. The facilities we have for them at Woolton will ensure they have an excellent start.
